AoC Governors’ Summit
This event will now take place on 8 October. Please note, the original date for this event was 31 March but was postponed.
This is the key national event for Governors in the sector and will provide valuable insight and in-depth analysis of the topics that matter.
The packed programme will allow you the space to ensure that you are up to date with the latest changes in policy and legislation, and time to discuss ways to improve your college’s governance and drive operational efficiency.
- What the next year looks like for colleges, including a look at the financial health of colleges
- How governors can assure themselves on the Quality of Education
- Guidance around Governor retention and recruitment and diversity in Governance
- An update on apprenticeships and subcontracting
The summit will also provide you with excellent opportunities to build your network of colleagues and leave with ideas to improve the effectiveness of governance and board performance in your college.
“Good all round conference – useful updates – but, perhaps more importantly, it was motivating and gave a sense of direction”
David Carpenter, Portsmouth College
“The annual AoC Governors conference has become an invaluable event each year. A ‘one-stop’ shop to get an overview of what’s happening, what’s not and make sure you haven’t missed any vital new initiatives”
Ra Hamilton-Burns, Sussex Downs College
