The Manager as a Coach: An AoC masterclass

Coaching is now one of the key emotionally-intelligent leadership skills. In a fast changing, uncertain and ‘working from home’ environment, it has become one of the most valued leadership and conversation skill sets.

In FE it is often used by both managers and teaching staff in conversations to engage staff (and learners), improve quality and deepen learning.

This masterclass is an introduction to coaching skills for managers. You will:
• Experience a micro-coaching practice with big impact.
• Explore though case studies how coaching could support you in your conversations with staff (even when working remotely).
